For Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- A recognized Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA of 3.00 or its equivalent;
- A candidate who has a Bachelor’s Degree, with CGPA less than 3.00 and above 2.75 must have at least one (1) year relevant working experience.
- For candidate with Bachelor’s degree whose CGPA is between 2.00 and 2.74, relevant work experience in the related fields will be considered. One (1) year relevant experience will be considered as equivalent to 0.1 CGPA
- A candidate who has a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, with CGPA less than 2.50 or its equivalent, and a minimum of five (5) years working experience in relevant field can be accepted and subject to rigorous internal assessment.

Language Requirements
1. International applicants are required to present the result of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the test administered by the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with the minimum required score as listed in table below :

2. An applicant who has not fulfilled the requirement as stipulated in Table 2.4, is required to take a placement test and an English programme conducted by UTeM as well as sit for the MUET prior to commencement of their studies. Any student who has obtained a score of lower one (1) Band as stipulated in Table 2.4 after the english programme is required to undergo and pass the Remedial English course(s) conducted by UTeM in addition to the graduation requirements of his / her programme of study.
3. Exemption from sub-section 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 may be given to those who have undertaken regular programmes of studies and graduated from universities that use English as the medium of instruction. Exemption may also be given to those who originate from countries whose native language is English or who hail from Commonwealth countries. Applicants are also required to provide proof of evidence to PPS.
Other Requirements ( International Students)
1. All international students are required to register as full time student and should have the financial capability to meet the course fees and living expenses.
2. Applicants need to submit a letter of certification from their Ministry of Education verifying nationality and academic qualifications of candidate.
3. Academic transcripts and supporting documents must be certified true copies by a senior public official from the applicant’s country or from Malaysia.
4. Proof of financial ability to pursue their studies and live in Malaysia for the duration of study. A letter of financial guarantee/sponsorship or the most recent financial statement from applicant’s bank is sufficient.
5. Have international passport with at least two (2) years validity and meet all immigration procedures.
6. Clear medical check-up by the health authorities.
