Bus

UTeM provides 26 buses for the use of its students and staff. These buses shuttle the students to and from hostels and campuses.Getting around Melaka by bus is easy and relatively cheap. The terminal for city buses is at Melaka Sentral. The local buses do not have accurate schedule, and the bus usually leaves when it’s full. During daytime the buses run frequently, but be prepared for waiting towards the evening. Most public transportation stops operating around 10 pm and starts again around 6am.

Taxi

There are several taxi operators in Melaka. Some of them operate only during certain hours; some serve 24 hours a day. You can either book a taxi in advance or stop a passing one. During Friday and Saturday nights taxis are busy, so consider making a booking in advance.
